Julie’s interest in hearing health began during her first course in speech pathology as an undergrad. Having always been interested in helping others, especially anyone afflicted with special needs, she discovered the field of audiology and how she could help make a difference in people’s lives.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University, Julie stayed on to earn a Master’s degree in Audiology. She then furthered her skills and understanding by earning a Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.
Julie opened Hearing Health Care Associates in East Haven and Milford in 1989. She is also a Founding member of the Connecticut Academy of Audiology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Julie is involved in a variety of hearing conservation programs in elementary schools and is an advocate for hearing loops. She is also an Educational Audiologist, serving the hearing health needs of students at over 40 schools in the New Haven area.
Educational Background:
A native New Yorker, Anne graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 1981, with a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Although she had never heard of Audiology, she instantly loved it from the first introductory class. Anne then received her master’s in Audiology from the University of Rhode Island in 1984. Hating to leave the Ocean state, she relocated to CT where she’s worked in a variety of settings over the past 31 years, the last 11 at Hearing Healthcare Associates in Milford.
Her true passion is helping adults obtain and be successful with hearing aids. This is our specialty at Hearing Health Care. Anne enjoys contributing to our small practice where we provide a hands on approach in a gentle non-threatening manner. In addition, she has a private practice in her hometown of Newtown, CT, and is the consulting audiologist at 6 skilled nursing and independent facilities.
Anne enjoys spending time with her daughters and has been fortunate to travel extensively during their careers as competitive Irish dancers.
Tracey graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor Degree in Social Services. While in college, she enjoyed volunteering with the handicapped, hospice patients, a mentoring program and spent her leisure time skiing.
After graduation, she moved to Chicago to work as an Executive Recruiter for the manufacturing, retail and advertising industries, specializing in Mid-level management, engineering and accounting positions. Tracey thoroughly enjoyed the Windy City, but decided to return to her Connecticut roots and starting working for the Family Business, Brock Enterprises. There, she was the Manager of Personnel, Customer Service and daily operations.
She has been at Hearing Health Care Associates for the past 4 years and considers herself very fortunate to be part of such a dynamic, caring and compassionate Health Care Provider. She thoroughly enjoys our patients! Her highest priority is to make them feel comfortable, to educate them about their hearing loss, be available to answer any questions and let them know how special they are to us.
Outside of Hearing Health Care, Tracey keeps very busy with her family and love of sports! Particularly watching College football (Roll Tide!), playing paddle tennis, horseback riding and her golden retriever, Mulligan!
Michelle attended Quinnipiac University and is currently enrolled at Albertus Magnus College pursuing a Masters degree in Social Gerontology. She has worked in the health insurance industry for 20 years prior to taking time off to raise her daughters.
